What would you recommend for a 2017 Honda Civic LX with one exhaust coming out the back on the passenger side.

As long as your 2017 Honda Civic LX doesn't have the center exhaust, there is a trailer hitch available for your vehicle. If you've got the Coupe or Hatchback models I recommend using the Curt # C11463 or if you've got a Sedan I recommend the Curt # C11604, since Curt hitches tend to have a more durable powder coating that ultimately helps prolong the life of your hitch and fend off rust/corrosion. Both of these hitches offer a Class I, 1-1/4" receiver to use for towing or carrying hitch mounted accessories.

If you're going to be towing with this hitch you'll also need trailer wiring, a ball mount and hitch ball. For a ball mount I recommend using the # C45521 and a hitch ball with a 3/4" shank diameter like the # A-82 (2" hitch ball) or # A-80 (1-7/8" hitch ball). When it comes to wiring, this will be dependent on the body style of your vehicle. I've linked all of the available wiring for the 2017 Honda Civic to this answer and you'll need to choose your body style to determine the correct fit. I generally recommend going with Tekonsha wiring harnesses since we've found that they're a bit more reliable long term.
