Question:
In your description of this item, it states an adapter kit is required if your vehicle does not have a 7 pin connection. What is the part number for that adapter kit. I have a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD.

Since your 2006 Ford F-150 doesn't have a factory 7-way it should have a factory 4-way. With that being the case you do indeed need an adapter to convert your 4-way to a 7-way to use the Curt Echo # C51180.
The adapter for your truck is part # 37185. I linked a video from when we installed it on a 2009 F-150 that's basically the same process as your truck.
