I have a really great and easy to use/install 7-way and brake controller setup for your 2020 Ford F-150 with the 4-way to 7-way adapter part # 37185 and the Curt Echo Mobile controller part # C51180.
What you'll do is plug the 4-way of the # 37185 into the 4-way of your truck and then run the black wire of the adapter to the orange wire that's ran to your trucks frame rail (see attached picture) and it will be active enough to use the Echo. Now the Echo only needs to be plugged into this 7-way adapter and then once you sync it to your smart phone it will be ready to go. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well that shows it install on a similar 2019 Ford F-150.
