Recommended Ball Mount for a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 with 7 Inch Drop
Updated 05/19/2020 | Published 05/15/2020 >
Question:
Using the ball mount measurement specs on your site my 2020 2500HD truck with a 2.5 receiver requires a 6.75 drop for the trailer I have. You dont show a 7 drop ball mount so would you recommend going with a 6 drop or having to go with an adjustable ball mount?

The best option for larger trucks is without a doubt an adjustable ball mount that way you aren't stuck with a fixed ball mount that only works on certain trailers. The best option for this if you have the larger 2-1/2" receiver tube is the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount part # BWTS20049B which comes with all three hitch ball sizes as well as a drop up to 7". The best part of all is that the hitch balls can be stored out of sight while not in use.
