Recommended Replacement 4.80x12 Wheel/Tire With Higher Speed Rating for Harbor Freight

Question:
I have a small trailer from Harbor Freight. I use it to haul two sometimes three molded plastic kayaks. The maximum weight for the trailer is 1195 lbs. I never would get to 1000 lbs with all three kayaks on trailer. All together the kayaks might weigh 500 lbs, which would be very liberal number. With that said the draw back to the two wheels on the trailer is the speed rating. I have to keep the speed limit no more than 55. So what I am looking for is a trailer tire with a higher speed rating above 55 mph, I looked on your website and the Taskmaster tires have a speed rating listed in the tire description but the Kenda tires do not. So can you recommend a trailer tire/wheel capable of 1195 lbs trailer weight limit and a higher speed rating than 55 mph? tires are 4 holed 4.80 x 12

The Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel part # AM30620 is a great replacement option with 65 mph speed rating and 4 on 4" bolt pattern. If you want to go higher than 65 mph then you would need to upgrade to a much larger tire which might not even be possible due to available space. In regards to weight, each tire would be rated for 990 lbs for a total of 1,980 lbs. If you need to go higher than this you could again need to upgrade to a larger tire.
