Question:
I Have a 2000 F350 DRW 7.3 4x4 crew cab - will my spare tire still fit under truck with this hitch?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2" # C15810 is a fit for the standard or step bumper of your truck. With this hitch, spare tires 20" and larger will not be able to be stored in the original location underneath the vehicle.
If you instead go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2" # C15410 then your spare tire will fit if you have a 20 inch spare or smaller.
If you use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2" # DT45508 there is not a size of spare that is restricted and manufacturer says full size spare will fit.
