I am planning on purchasing a 2017 4WD Ford Explorer Sport w/ a 3.5L engine to flat tow behind our RV. I want to confirm before making a purchase that this vehicle can be flat towed, and what equipment you recommend to do so. Thank you.

The 2017 Ford Explorer 4WD (3.5L Only) can be flat-towed with all four wheels down behind a motorhome without issue. In order to flat-tow the vehicle you will need base plates, tow bar, safety cables, flat-tow wiring harness, and a supplemental braking system. I have attached a list of recommended options below.
