The Custom Installation Kit for Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C61341 is a fit for your 2006 Chevy 1500 short bed. It works well with the Folding Ball Gooseneck Hitch # C-52. This comes together as part # C61341-52. You may also want to consider the bed wiring kit # C56000.

I can't find the part you referenced so I can't confirm that fit.
