Heavy-duty tie-downs bolt to your trailer so that you can easily secure your boat or other cargo. Quick-release buttons simplify unloading, and the retractable design keeps straps neatly stored when they're not in use. 4,000 lbs Max load.
Features:
Specs:
Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
These heavy-duty Erickson ratchet straps take the hassle out of tying down gear - especially the cargo you transport frequently, such as your boat or motorcycle. Each ratchet housing permanently mounts to your trailer with a single bolt, which is included.
To use one of the tie-downs, simply push down the red release button and pull out the strap. Then secure the vinyl-coated steel S-hook to your cargo and ratchet the strap until it's tight. You have to hook up just one end of the strap each time. And because the straps are permanently mounted, you'll never have to search for a missing tie-down. This saves you time and frustration and gets you out on the road in a flash.

I don't know if I just received a bad pair or what. I bought these thinking I'd save some money...oops. The ratchet system does not work well. One is stuck now and can't move either way. They've been rough working right out of the box. I bought CargoBuckle G3's at a higher price and they've been seamless and smooth working. Spend the extra $$.
Use these to tie down our car to a trailer. They have worked excellent.
Great product for our application
I purchased 8 of these straps to install on my ATV trailer, the only issue I have is that a few of them aren’t retracting anymore but overall am happy with the purchase. I would’ve given 5 stars if not for the few that aren’t retracting any longer. My main reason to purchase these was to have the straps permanently on the trailer so I wouldn’t need to find and fight with them.
I had ratchet straps on a previous trailer,. When I purchased another bass boat that did not have them,I immediately ordered this set and installed them. I like the convenience, ease of use and security the straps provide.
I bought this to hold down the bow of the boat to the trailer. I bought them as a pair and I'm glad I did because the first one locked and wouldn't release so I had to cut the strap. I am currently using the second one and hope to have better luck with it. It probably was only used a dozen times. I love the design but not real confident in its durability.
Have used these to strap down my power chair when it's on the car lift. Have had very good results with this product, easy to use.

Continue to have good success with these straps. Just keep them lubed and they work well.
Just what we need to insure our Spyder STS does not move inside our enclosed trailer while being tow behind our RV
I don't use these as transom tie downs. I use them to tie down my off road truck camper. It used to take about ten minutes to do it with the other tie down system. Now I'm down to about two to three minutes with these straps. They are still in great shape with no tears or ratchet issues. Highly recommend.
Receive them today install them on my boat trailer they work perfect. Great price and fast shipping thank you.

Still working great after 1 year and I still give them five star.
I was using a different brand of retractable strap. I found those to be weak and I was replacing them yearly. The Erikson however seem to be much stronger and of better quality. The Erikson were easy to install and after a month of use they hold my utility vehicle in place even on the roughest back roads!

Well after 3 of 4 work. One doesnt retract anymore.
These are decent for the money. I saw Walmart had em as well under a different name and about $10 more. I have a set made by Boatbuckle (sold here at the best price) on my good boat. Now those are nice. They operate smooth and look a lot nicer then these. These are good for the money and seem to be made fairly well.

One of the buckles doesnt retract all the way after using approx 10X. Really wish I would had purchased a pair of boatbuckles instead of these. The difference in quality is nightday.
Boat tie-downs arrived quickly, and I found them to be well made and much easier to use than ml ost. The push button retraction works very well for my application. Thanks for fast service.

After a year of use and Arizona sun, these straps are still great.
I had a strap break that was holding my motorcycle on the way to S.C. I called etrailer and told them of the problem I had and they went out of their way to help me out. The staff at etrailer was great. I ordered a new set of EM344423 straps, and the sales person assured me I would receive them in time to use on my return trip home. The new straps are now mounted on the trailer, and I am very pleased with the service and the product I received. I would/will definitely recommend etrailer to others. Thank to ALL the staff at etrailer for your help. James M. South Beloit, IL.

Fantastic! I have no complaints what so ever. Thank you once again.
So much better than using ratchet straps to secure equipment. Minus one star because whatever made the strap completely retract broke on one of them.
Stopped retracting after a couple uses, made in china, get what you pay for, warranty was past
Great strap!
Excellent product. Only reason not 5 stars is due to them shipping M10-1.5 bolts that are 3” long where threading is only half of bolt, unlike picture on website. In other words, unless you are bolting to something at least 1.5” thick/deep, you will have to buy shorter bolts.
Otherwise, excellent product.
Easy to use. And great price.
Great product
Very good price
I would suggest going to a fully theaded bolt vs. The super long shank version currently provided. The mounting spot on my trailer is maybe a 1/4 thick so I had to go purchase new mounting bolts to be able to use. This was just an inconvenience but could be easily corrected on the selling side of this product. Pictures show what it came with vs. What I had to purchase.
Excellent quality, of course everyone is skeptical at first, so wasn't I. Those worked stupendously well, was submerged many many times last summer under water and never failed me at all.
Don't go spend a fortune, buy these, I assure you you will be happy.

PS: I am as fussy as you can get them and then some, if you can appease me then they must be awesome. AH.

Great product, never failed me at all. recommend highly. You maintain it, and it will take care of you.
1 year in - Great Product...Makes loading and unloading soooo much faster. I had to install them on the deck of the trailer, not the sides as recommended. Purchased shorter bolts to accommodate the thickness of the trailer floor.
George: Here are the tie down straps attached to my trailer . As you can see it is no ordinary trailer as it carries my aircraft that I built (it took my 27 years to complete) . I trailer the aircraft from my house to the airport and back . Straps work as advertised . Thanks!
Regards,
These tie downs work great. Because of the way my trailer is made I ended up mounting them on the back corners of the boat instead. Easier to reach and work and keeps them out of the water. I’m very pleased.

They have worked well for my application. I have 4 of them tieing down my 32 Ford on a trailer. The only issue is the return springs start to get weak on one or two of the ratchets. Then you have to ratchet the strap in but they are secure.
