Fastener Caps for License Plate Bracket

Question:
Hi, do the fastener caps simply pop on to the acorn caps? My volvo has a license plate bracket, so the standard bling caps didnt work because the long screws are attached to the bracket so I cant screw anything in, jut cap off the screw. Please LMK thanks!

The Fastener Caps for License Plates and License Plate Frames - Clear Crystals - Qty 4 # CR82431 are compatible with metric or standard mounting screws. They have an exterior ring that the screw goes through and then the cap will fit the base ring. This will work well for the bracket but it will replace the acorn caps so it will not work with those but will replace them.
