Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL and want to know if this rack can carry two Kayaks. If so, do I need to purchase any additional hardware.

In order to carry two kayaks on a 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited you'll need a roof rack, the Thule SquareBar Crossbar System part # TH712500 and part # TH65BJ is what I recommend. The roof rack will allow you to properly distribute the weight of the kayaks on the roof. In order to secure the kayaks you'll need to do so on their side with a j-style carrier. I recommend the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier part # e98878 which comes with everything you need including tie-downs. In order to secure both kayaks you will need two sets.

The Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar part # RTL002 won't work for two kayaks.
