Question:

I do not want to flat tow. I do want to tow a less than 1500 lbs RC trailer. Is that the same thing? If no what do I need for my 2016 Buick Envision?

We have exactly what you need to tow a small trailer with your 2015 Buick Envison. Flat Towing refers to the towing of a vehicle behind a motor home. You are going to be regular towing and you need a hitch,wiring and a ball mount.

For the hitch use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13292 it is very capable of handling the weight you are asking it to and is easier to install than the DrawTite.

As far as wiring use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # C56364 this will give you a 4-way to connect the trailer to and the necessary relays to activate your towing package.

For the ball mount use part # 989900 this will give you the 1 7/8" and 2" balls as well as two ball mounts with different rise and drop options to match up with your trailer.
