Does the position this strainer is mounted in matter? Does the clear bowl need to be on the bottom, or can it be on the top and/or angled at 45 degrees?

Expert Reply:
The Inline Filter for Hydromax RV Fresh Water Pump - 1/2"-14 MNPT to 1/2"-14 FNPT part # P25206VP replaces the filter for the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201. The filter does need to have the clear bowl at the bottom to filter properly. I have attached the photo of the correct orientation for your reference.
