Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Brass Diverter Check Valve. This unit can be used for many applications, but most commonly used as a replacement for bypass kits when it comes to winterizing your RV water system. This unit's made from a durable brass construction. It's going to feature a lead free design. Also features a fresh water backflow preventer. Just to go over the different connection points real quick, on this end you're going to have the 1/2 inch FPT or female pipe thread connection, and then the other two are 1/2 inch MPTs, which is male pipe thread connections. The lever is the diverter, so that diverts the flow from this connection to this connection.
The FPT connection comes with the appropriate seal on there, as you can see, to ensure leak-proof performance. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Brass Diverter Check Valve.
