Question:
Hello, I am going to be in drag week 2020. With drag racing weight and time is an issue so I wont be able to take the hitch on and off. What are the dry weights of the curt c13236 and c12064? I am pulling a trailer less than 1800# so the pull weight is not an issue. Thank you for your time. Mike

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13236 weighs around 32 lbs and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12064 weighs about 26 lbs. The Curt C12064 is a 1-1/4" hitch receiver and the Curt C13236 is a 2" receiver. I normally recommend a 2" hitch because you will have more options for bike racks and other accessories. They also normally offer more weight capacity.
In this case I do recommend the 1-1/4" hitch part # C12064 because it is a concealed cross tube hitch so the only portion of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver for a cleaner look. However, you do want to keep in mind the towing capacity is 3500 lbs. I also cannot recommend to exceed the weight capacity of your vehicle so you may want to take a look at the owner's manual for that information as well.
If you need a ball mount I recommend to figure the rise/drop that you need to pull the trailer level using the attached help article. I have also attached installation videos for your reference.
