Question:
I see 2 different 7 way harnesses - one from Tekonsa and one from Curt. Which one is recommended best for our 2018 Honda Pilot Touring AWD? What is the difference between them?

Expert Reply:
The difference between the 7-way harnesses available for your 2018 Honda Pilot comes down to quality and reliability. Over the years we have found the Tekonsha brand to be far more reliable than Curt so I strongly recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer # 118286.
This harness also has higher maximum amperage than the Curt which means it offers you better protection against potential shorts.
To mount this use mounting bracket # HM48625.
I have added a link to a video showing the installation of this wiring harness for you to check out as well.
