Trailer Wiring for 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee With Auto Start/Stop

Question:
I was told I only can use an OEM wiring harness because I have the auto start/stop in my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X. It did not come with a tow package. Thanks

I have not heard anything about being limited to using OEM wiring because of the auto start/stop function on your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X.
We have installed the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 on multiple Grand Cherokees and not had any issues.
The # 118727 plugs directly inline with your tail lights so there's not cutting or splicing involved, and it your Jeep won't have to be taken to the dealer to get to get the ECU flashed since it will work off the taillight signals.
