Comparing Yakima OverHaul and Thule Xsporter Ladder Racks for a 2020 Ford Ranger

Question:

Between the Yakima overhaul HD and the Thule Xsporter pro which one has the shortest foot length? Thanks

The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # Y01151-58 and Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH500XTB are both excellent options for a 2020 Ford Ranger. In order to use either with a crossover style toolbox, you'll need to simply slide the upright away from the cab to clear the toolbox but there is not an adapter to install on top of the mounting feet.

In regards to compatibility with roof rack mounted accessories, they will both work well for this but the Yakima OverHaul which is what I recommend has smaller crossbars so it will work with more roof rack mounted accessories and it has built-in tie-downs on the crossbars.

I checked with Thule and they do not offer a minimum height range as I suspect it would come down to the depth of the bed but for the Yakima OverHaul HD it is 19".
