Question:

It was recommended to be used instead of HM47295 on my 2019 Ford F-150. What is needed to connect the 5535 to the wiring in my truck ?

To install a brake controller like the Hopkins Agility part # HM47295 in your 2019 Ford F-150 you'd actually just need the # 37185 which would plug into the 4-way you have at the rear of your truck and then you'd splice the blue wire of the adapter to the blue wire of the harness you can see in the attached picture.

Instead of the Agility I would strongly recommend the iCommand part # TK63VR as it performs much better and is much more reliable as well.

For a Class III hitch part # C86HR is a really solid choice. It looks great and has plenty of towing capacity as well.

You'd use the part # 22292 to install the iCommand in your F-150 and then follow the instructions I mentioned for the wiring at the rear of the truck. I should have mentioned that earlier! I attached an install video for this harness on a very similar F-150 as yours as well.
