Can the Factory Tailgate Camera Be Used with the Custom Third Brake Light Camera On a 2018 Ram 3500

Question:
If I install a cargo back up camera, will I still be able to use my factory tailgate camera? If so how would I toggle through. Thank you

Yes, the Custom Third Brake Light Camera for Factory Monitor part # 3460015 which is a fit for a 2018 Ram 3500 will still allow you to use your factory backup camera in the tailgate. That said, you could not display both cameras at the same time so you would need to switch back and forth between whichever one you needed at the time. In order to switch between cameras, you would simply use the switch that comes with the kit.

Hello. I purchased the third brake light with camera. Installed it in my truck but there is no video. My tailgate camera still works but no video from the light camera. The brake light and load lights work.
