That's right, the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118411 and the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56045 are very similar for the 2005 Volvo XC90. They both install in the rear cargo area of the Volvo and give you a 4-Way flat to connect your trailer into to illuminate the trailer lights. The difference really just comes down to the brand of wiring.
I recommend the Tekonsha brand part # 118411 because the Tekonsha brand of wiring is known to be a bit more reliable compared to the other options especially the converter boxes. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
