Question:
I had asked the difference in pin weight and payload capacity and you defined the difference very well. My follow up question is this. If the pin weight is 2264, and that basically sits on the frame of the truck via the 5th wheel hitch, what is or how do I know what my frame capacity is for my truck? 2019 f250 diesel short bed

There is a big difference between the payload capacity of a truck and the pin weight capacity from a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer. The difference is due to the fact that payload is basically the weight capacity of the truck bed and pin weight capacity is for the frame of the truck since the hitch attaches to the truck's frame and comes through the truck bed. The bed doesn't support the in-bed hitch at all which explains why there's a difference.
I believe you have a 2019 Ford F-250 short bed with the OEM rail kit which for a fifth wheel hitch for that I would recommend the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3370 as it's the easiest to use and highest quality hitch for your truck. I attached an install video for this for hitch for you to check out as well.
