It states that if you have a mor- ryde king pin box you will need a locking plate also. Can you point me in right direction please.

You will want a slider hitch like you mentioned to prevent the nose of your trailer from hitting the cab of your 2019 Ford F-350 since you have a short bed truck. The slider hitch allows the pivot point to move back and give you the needed clearance.
If you like the idea of an automatic slider which slides back as you turn I highly recommend the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550038 which fits your OEM rail kit directly. If you prefer a manual slider the Companion part # BWRVK3370 is the best option. It's USA made, very easy to use, and the quietest option as well.
