Is the Curt Trailer Hitch CU29FR A Good Option For 2020 Chevy Traverse
Published 01/03/2020 >
Question:
Hi everyone, I am looking for a hitch for my 2020 chevy traverse. Is Curt the best option? it seems like it because it says best for bike racks which is what I am using it for but I still don't know. What do you think? Are there disadvantages? I mean i plan on taking it to a mechanic anyway

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # CU29FR for the 2020 Chevy Traverse because it provides the great clearance for bike racks and cargo carriers. It sits high on the vehicle so your accessories are less likely to scrape the ground. It is also a concealed cross tube design so the only portion of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver square for a clean OEM look.
The only disadvantage is the install is more involved than the other options because the cross tube is behind the bumper but once it's installed it looks nicer and provides the best ground clearance for your bike rack. I have also attached a copy of the installation instructions and a video so you can show the mechanic the process.
