Question:
I have a 2017 F350 dually with an 1172 lance slide in camper. I have the factory 3inch ford hitch. I need to use a 48inch hitch extension. I see the cannon, however, I have a bass boat with a swing away hitch. it looks to me like the cannon is rated 300# tongue and 3000# wt, if you add a weight distribution hitch it doubles. Can you tell me if there is a weight distribution hitch we can use with a 2inch ball. I dont want to have to change the hitch as I have my torqlift frame mount tiedowns already for this hitch.

The TorkLift # TLE1648 Cannon reduces the factory 3 inch receiver to a 2-1/2 inch, so you could use any weight distribution system with a 2-1/2 inch shank with the proper drop or rise. I'll link you to a help article that explains how to measure for the proper rise or drop. The article is actually for a ball mount, but the same procedure would be used to determine the correct weight distribution shank needed.
The correct system will depend on the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of the boat trailer. I really like the Equal-i-zer systems, because of how easy they are to use and how effective they are. I'll link you to the Equal-i-zer systems we offer. If you look at the left side of the page, you can filter by the as-loaded tongue weight. I'll also link you to the 2-1/2 inch hitch compatible shanks.
Since boat trailers use a pole tongue, you'd also need a pole tongue adapter, part # EQ95-01-5950
