How Loosen Ratchet Straps on K-Source Universal Towing Mirror for Installation
Published 12/13/2019 >
Question:
I have watched the video multiple times on how to install these, but it seems like all installation videos seem to start at like step 25. Can someone provide the steps from the time you take them out of the box? The straps come out of the box all pulled tight. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to loosen them up so that I can install them on my truck 2018 Chevy Colorado.

In order to loosen the ratcheting straps on the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror # KS3990 you'll need to lift up the ratcheting clip and press the button on the inside. I've attached a photo from our site that illustrates more closely what I'm referring to. Performing this task will allow you to loosen the straps and attach them to your new K-Source Mirrors.
I've also linked our installation of these mirrors on a 2017 Chevy Colorado that you can reference back to; the installation begins around 1:40 into the video.
