Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these K-Source replacement towing mirror ratcheting straps. These two straps are going to replace the ratcheting straps for your K-Source universal towing mirror. This will work for the two models that you see on the screen there. And because these are a direct replacement from K-Source, you can trust these are going to work for your towing mirror. No worries about compatibility issues or anything like that.
They will attach the clip on the towing mirror to your vehicle mirror so you have a nice snug fit to reduce mirror vibration. These do have a nice heavy duty rubber construction with the rubber pads on the strap that help to protect the mirror housing from any scratches. So. I originally bought the mirrors in August 2020. One of the stamps broke, so I guess it lasted 4 years. I dont camp that much maybe twice to 3 times a year. Shipping was fast and ordering was great. I just hope the straps last longer.
The replacements are improved over the original design with snap in security of the mirror holder. One original band failed after 30K miles of pretty hard use. Not a production defect and a reasonable life for a stretching part.
The straps don't really fit the 2024 Tundra mirrors. They barely reached together and there was no way to have the ratchet sitting flat. Worked fine on my 2014, just not working on the new truck.
Worked like it should, easy to use.
These straps are spares for the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors we purchased a while back. The mirrors are a wonderful addition to our camper towing trips. I wanted some spare straps to take with us is the occasion should arise where we need to replace one of the ones that came with the mirrors. We drove over 5,000 miles this summer and the mirrors attaché to the side view mirrors of the car with these straps. I have used other makes and they have sort of worked but have never come to the level of these mirrors. I have no idea how long the present straps will last. I am being pro active and getting spares now incase they stop making them.
These replacement straps are for my towing mirrors on a 2013 Dodge Durango. The mirrors have been fantastic for almost 30K miles and the replacement straps ensure the mirrors will be functional into the foreseeable future. Great products!!

The straps and mirrors continue to be outstanding! I consider the mirrors essential for trailering and they have been excellent on my 2013 Durango.
One of the rubber straps broke on my original mirror so I ordered these to replace the broken strap and have a spare. They are the same as original except the small levers used to ratchet the straps are silver instead of black, not really an issue, just different. One thing though; each strap requires a plastic hook on each end, so each strap needs two hooks. This set only came with two hooks instead of four so I had to use a hook from the broken strap. Should come with four hooks.

Still working fine after a year. Have only used them three or four times to pull camper, but they are still in good shape.
Just what I needed. Shopping was fast! Do recommend Would buy again but look like they’ll hold up a long time so I won’t be buying any soon.
Ordered replacement straps because these mirrors are some of the best tow mirrors I’ve ever used. The straps hold the mirrors steady even at top highway speeds. Zero vibration in the mirrors during use.

Had to order new Replacement Ratcheting Straps for K-Source Universal Towing Mirror after one of mine broke while using (only bought them 6 months ago). The replacement comes in a pack of 2 so I now have a spare. However, the replacement straps purchase is nearly as much as ordering a new mirror.
Poor quality rubber on straps. This is the third set of replacement straps I’ve had to purchase. Mirrors have fallen off more than once.
I had ordered the mirror via [online vendor] and ordered the straps as spares (from etrailer.com). Sorry but I spent hours trying to install the towing mirror on my 2024 Tundra Platinum. Could not get a good fit. Also the bottom inside tab hits the door when folded-in.
I finally got them today and they were a perfect match to the old ones. The only problem I had when I ordered them they was out of stock and someone tried to substitute it with something that would not even come close to fitting. Just do more research next time.
I really didn't think I could find these! I am so pleased that these are a perfect fit for my mirrors that I've had for several years. When one strap broke I was consigned to the fact that I may have to order mirrors. Thank you for carrying these!!
Loved them at first, but rubber straps broke after about 6 months.
These straps allow quick and easy installation of the mirrors. Dealing with etrailer is also very quick and at some great prices.

These straps were purchased as spares to the original purchase of the mirrors. They are still spares as the original ones are working fine. We put on another 10,000 miles this summer. These mirrors are beyond belief, I can take them off the van and when I put them back on they are back in the same position as they were when I took them off. We had a different style mirrors from another manufacturer before these mirrors were purchased. We were constantly adjusting them. The original straps are not showing any signs of failure so these straps will last a long time I am guessing.
