What Are The Quietest A-Frame Electric Trailer Jacks

Question:

How noisy is this product compared to the other Jacks? so far it looks like, the brand Bull-dog, is the quietest. You guys should add this to your products review videos.

There are a number of quiet electric A-frame trailer jacks, although the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 you asked about would not be on the list. That said, you were right on the money with the Bulldog, because their Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack - 22" Lift - 4,000 lbs # BD500199 (Black) or # BD500200 (White) has a powered drive which is going to reduce noise.

The other quietest A-frame trailer jack is from Stromberg Carlson, the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - 22-1/2" Lift - 5,000 lbs # JET-5000NG. This is similar to the original jack you asked about, but it uses a ball screw instead of an Acme-type screw which reduces friction and noise. Basically what this means is that it has ball bearings which roll along the screw shaft's threads, which results in a smoother operation of the jack.
