How Wide Is the Head on the Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack

Question:
I have an Airstream. There is very little clearance between a jack head, and the nice, shiny, aluminum propane tank cover. What is the exact measurement of the SIDE of this hitch head, meaning, how far does the side of the hitch head/cover extend out from the vertical jack tube? In other words, if I install this hitch sideways, how far does the side, which would now be the rear, of the hitch head extend out from the vertical jack tube? The current, OEM jack head overhangs beyond the outside diameter of the vertical jack tube about 1.25 inches. thanks.

From the center of the jack tube to the outside edge of the head cover on the Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack # BD500199 is 4",and the head cover extends out 1" from the edges of the jack tube.
I've attached some diagrams for you to check out as well.
