Will this fit on a 2018 Passat GT?

I do have a great option for you, however the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7317 that you referenced is not confirmed to fit the GT model of your 2018 VW Passat.

We have reached out to Curt though in the past and were able to verify that their Class I Trailer Hitch # C11234 will fit this vehicle perfectly. Like the EcoHitch model you were looking at, this hitch features a nice hidden-crosstube design that allows only the receiver to be visible behind the VW (see attached images).

The only difference is that it does have the smaller 1-1/4" receiver as opposed to the 2" receiver on the EcoHitch. The weight capacities are the same though at 2,000 pounds towing. The EcoHitch has a 300 pound tongue weight while the Curt has 200 pounds. I have attached an installation video below that you can also use for reference.
