I want to replace my Shelby 5135 coupler. What is the distance from the bottom of the channel to center of the hole. Is it 1 inch?

Yes, the mounting holes for the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-5003-Z measure 1" from the center down to the bottom of the channel.
