Complete trailer security made simple. Three keyed-alike locks and a case to keep your gear together. One key fits them all, so you spend less time fumbling with keys and more time on the road doing what you came to do.
This kit includes a hitch receiver lock, a latch-style coupler lock, and a high-visibility yellow 1-7/8" or 2" coupler lock. All three use the same key, so you're not fumbling through a key ring or guessing which one fits. The bright finish stands out as a clear theft deterrent and makes it easy to see your trailer is locked, while the one-key system keeps your routine fast and simple.
The case keeps every lock and key in one place so you're not digging through the truck or leaving a piece behind. It fits easily in the cab, toolbox, or bed and keeps all your gear in one spot. When it's time to hitch up or park for the night, everything's right where it should be.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our very own etrailer Lock Set. It's gonna get a lock for your two-inch hitch receiver and it's gonna have a lock for your 1 7/8 or two-inch couplers and then you can lock the latch lever on the coupler itself. So what's great about this is obviously it all fits in this nice hard plastic case. So that's number one. And then number two, it's all keyed alike.
So now I have one set of keys that I can use for all of my locks. Again, we have the hitch lock, we have the trigger latch style or lever latch style coupler lock latch lock, you have the actual coupler itself lock, and then you have the keys that are keyed alike. Now, I wanna point out here from the beginning, you do have a magnet inside of here in the box. I think that's really nice. It's a little addition that just makes a lot of sense to me.
Most of these companies out there don't give you any thought to that and your keys sometimes get, you know, mixed up in here and rattle around. Not the case with ours, right So that's a good start. I'm gonna need those keys actually. So let's start off with the hitch lock. So two-inch-by-two-inch trailer hitch receiver is what it's designed for.
Has a nice chrome finish to prevent rust, corrosion. Of course, the coupler lock has the yellow powder coat finish, again, to protect against rust and corrosion. You have your keys that are keyed alike. I can simply pop open the cap here. That's gonna be great for keeping out dust, moisture, debris, and that kind of stuff.
And I just simply twist and I'm twisting this out using the key. And then I put it back in through my ball mount or my accessory, whatever it is, whether it's a bike rack, those kind of things. And I have about 2 5/8 inch of usable space. And then coming over here to the coupler trigger latch style or level latch style ball couplers, this has a two-inch usable span here, same key. And we're just simply doing the same thing. We're twisting. And you can twist this side or you can twist the side with the key. It doesn't matter. Both ways work. It's whatever's faster or easier for you. Personally, I find if I twist this side, it's a little bit quicker, but it's gonna depend on the space you have and whatnot as well. And then, of course, last we have the coupler lock itself. This fits a standard ball coupler for 1 7/8 or two-inch balls. It's going to work with a maximum coupler width, including the lip, so the outside lip to outside lip, 3 3/4 inches wide max. And the maximum thickness, it's gonna work with up to 5/16 of an inch thick. Same thing, I've got the lock on the back here, same key. Insert it. It's gonna make this loose. Slide it onto my coupler, push it up, lock it. Now no one can get to my coupler, steal my trailer, steal my accessories or anything like that. So a great kit if you're looking for locks and everything. This will include, again, everything for the coupler when you're not using it, everything for the coupler when you are using it to keep you safe, and then everything for the ball mount or, again, the accessories that you're towing with or using on your trips. And, again, everything fits nice and neat and easy. It's premolded on this case. They're all in there nice and snug in their spots, as you can hear. Nice and quiet, no rattles, right This is small to fit into a toolbox, maybe under a seat, glove box even depending on the size of your glove box, trunk, wherever. It's a great little option for you. This is the etrailer Lock Set with the yellow coupler lock. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching.

We do have latch locks that will work with a bigger span. I recommend taking a look at part # e98889 which fits a seven eights span or part # e98883 which is adjustable to fit 0.5 inches up to 2.5 inch span.
