Hi,, I’m actually not using this on a trailer but the ez add on shackles, they come in a 2 and 3 inch, I’m using a tractor top link, I need a bracket that is 2inches inside face to inside face can you tell me what the measurements there? Inside face to inside face on the 2in model and 3inch model I feel like the 3in would be closer

Hey David,
The internal measurement on both EZ Loader Equalizer Shackle Hanger - Tandem Axle - Galvanized - Bolt-On - 2" Frame - Qty 1 # CES22JR and EZ Loader Equalizer Shackle Hanger - Tandem Axle - Galvanized - Bolt-On - 3" Frame - Qty 1 # CES54BR comes out to be about the same. Using 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157, I measured inside-face-to-inside-face and I got 2.74" on # CES22JR and 2.77" on # CES54BR. The difference in size on both of these hangers is really for the frame sizes that they're intended for and not for the internal face dimension.
For something a little closer to 2" face to face, you could use CE Smith Front Hanger for 1-3/4" Wide Slipper Springs - 1-1/4" Tall - 9/16" Bolt Hole # CES55FR, which has an internal dimension of 1.87" face-to-face. This was the closest I was able to find to 2".
These are made to attach leaf springs to suspension components. I'd be very interested to see your setup to see if I can find a good alternative for you. Could you send me some photos?
