Hi there, I got the adapter e98978. And I can not locked the attaching pin. The pin is too short.

I cannot locate an order for the etrailer Replacement Tow Bar Adapter Kit # e98978, but I do see that you have the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates # e67ZR which already includes the Tow Bar Adapter Kit # e98978 installed. Not sure if that is the one you meant, or if you are trying to add an additional adapter thinking it is needed.

The two prongs on the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU23XR should fit inside of the 3 prongs on the Tow Bar Adapter Kit # e98978 on your XHD tow bar. So no extra depth for the pin should be added.

I am not entirely sure where the pin is coming up short, could you send a picture showing what you a mentioning? Maybe I am not thinking of it correctly.
