I have outlined my question on the attached photo, need to know the distance for the inner portion of the part. thanks

The width between the two tabs (as described in your photo) on the brackets of the # BX88230 Blue Ox Universal Adapter Tabs is just a hair over over 5/8 inches. I confirmed this with my contact at Blue Ox.

These tabs are designed to accept the triple lug brackets found on Blue Ox Towbars, like the Blue Ox Acclaim # BX4330. That being said, there are adapters available to make other brands of tow bars compatible with Blue Ox baseplates. So, if you can tell me which tow bar you plan on using, I can make a recommendation for the correct adapter. I've also included a link to our Baseplate Adapter Table for you to review.
