What Replacement Spring For 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 RWD

Updated 11/18/2019 | Published 11/16/2019

Question:

I have a 2007.5 Ram 2500 6.7L RWD, and as I look at my front end springs, Im noticing that your replacement springs will not fit in the buckets as they are too tall and skinny, but yet your website claims it will fit according to my year and configuration. If your team needs pictures and what not If be happy to provide since this may be a common problem for people like me with this model year truck 2007.5.

I can see why this might be confusing, because they definitely look narrow. I spoke with my contact over at SuperSprings and even though they may not look like a fit, they do consider the SuperSprings # SSC-12 a fit for the 2007 Ram 2500 2wd diesel models. This spring actually creates a 2" lift compared to the stock coils and is designed for winter service vehicles. For what it's worth, when I asked about differences that might occur on a 2007.5 Ram 2500, he mentioned that the 2008 also uses the same springs and that there shouldn't be any differences for your 2007.5 model.

If you were just looking for a way to beef up your suspension and not sway out your coils, I recommend going with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-301-47 which offer progressive load control that compress at different stiffness as the load gets heavier. They're maintenance free and are a simple, no drill installation.

I've linked a helpful video on the SumoSprings that you might find informative.
