Heavy front-end gear can cause sag that throws off steering and braking. These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 1,200 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to level your ride and steady your handling. They take pressure off the factory suspension so the front stays planted, traction stays even, and steering feels predictable with or without extra weight.
Road bumps and potholes don’t have to shake the cab. The microcellular urethane springs compress easily under light loads for a soft, comfortable ride, then firm up as weight increases—up to 80 percent compression under heavy load. This progressive rate keeps the ride smooth when empty and controlled when loaded, so you can drive through rough pavement or uneven terrain without harsh jolts.

When a curve or gust of wind pushes you off balance, these springs work independently on each side to keep the vehicle steady. That means less body roll in corners, less rocking when pulling into uneven driveways, and a more controlled feel in highway crosswinds.
Each spring is made from durable microcellular urethane that resists abrasion, oil, salt, and UV damage. It performs in temperatures from -25 F to 200 F and compresses vertically with minimal side expansion so it won’t rub against nearby parts. There’s no tubing to run or air pressure to check—just a set of maintenance-free springs that you can count on every time you hit the road.
Adding front-end support shouldn’t mean a long day in the shop. These custom-fit jounce-style springs bolt in easily using existing mounting points—no drilling required. In one afternoon with hand tools, you can have dependable suspension support ready for every haul or trip ahead.

These Sumo springs were a great upgrade. So easy to install, less than 20 minutes.
Ordering was easy and shipping was quick. Installation was Super easy, took longer to lift Motorhome and set Jack stands then to install The SumoSprings.
Ride was much smoother and body roll was much improved.
Very easy to install. I have not put very many miles on Rv but have noticed that there is much less swaying when going over uneven driveways. After installing these and and safe t plus steering it drives a lot better.
Installation in a 2022 Sierra 2500HD was easy, used large Channel locks to remove factory, new ones popped in by blocking them with wood wedge while vehicle was jacked up and releasing jack quickly so all weight would come down at once.
Only have aprox 100 miles on new Bump Stops but ride feels smoother as they are engaged at rest, unlike factory that engage on bumps. Need more miles to fully review.
Springs are good, working well. My Tacoma is stock (no lift). With the front end jacked up and wheel/tires totally suspended I was not able to get the springs mounted. I had to cut off about 1/4 inch of threads to get them into position to screw then in. Once that was done everything was ok.
Sumo Springs really helped with the bumps in the front of the 2019 Ford E350 Winnebago! Very happy with them. Super easy install even though a bit awkward to reach the spot.
Very easy installation. Would be nice if they were about 2” longer to get contact sooner but they were a good replacement for the hollow stock bump stops.
Springs arrived on time without any damage. Installation was completed in about a half hour with a 10mm socket, 3” extension and ratchet to remove the stock bump block on our Ford E450. Then just thread the Sumo Spring in place of the removed block. This was the easiest upgrade I’ve done so far.
Super easy to install maybe 30 minutes for all 4
Fronts were done from above with wheel turned full right or left and load off that side with jack, rears jack to take off load only used large flat head screw drive to remove replace
improved side to side roll/sway ride is firmer went with the black capacity maybe yellow on rear if loads increase
these look like the perfect thing for my tired old helper springs, I put SumoSprings on my rear axel of my Jeep a year ago and the have made that ride much better hoping for the same with these.
Installed Sumo Springs on my 2019 Chevy 4500 motorhome, I was looking for ride improvement without breaking the bank. These days so many products are marketed well but never match the performance that was promised. That is not the case with Sumo Springs!!! I am very pleased with the ride improvement, sway is gone when transitioning from different levels of pavement and the shock of bumps is 50% better!! Installed myself on front and back in about 1 hour, front ended up about 3/8” higher after a couple days, got front end alignment done but didn’t need any adjustment. Finished a 400 mile road day today and my wife and I are very pleased. Excellent product!!
What most new RV owners don't know is that the chassis that their new mobile home sits on barely has the equipment to support that new home. Adding SumpSprings is going to improve your ride and help support the structure of your home. FYI, use a jack on the leaf springs to help align the holes on the bracket to the ones on the frame.
I’ve made several purchases from eTrailer and have been satisfied every time! Recently bought front and rear Sumo helper springs. Installation was a breeze. They have helped reduce the side to side sway caused by wind, freeway traffic and rough roads. So far im very happy with them.
Installed front Sumosprings yesterday but have not driven vehicle yet. The front have full contact with the A-frames.
Should help with van side-to-side sway.
Shopping around for a set to install on the rear as well.
2006 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW 5.9 Cummins 4x2
Original bump stops were dry rotted and almost not existent. Very easy install. Took about 30 minutes. The Sumo springs are engaged all the time. This may be due to the truck being a 4x2? You can feel the front end is stiffer over bumps and dips of the road, which I feel is ok and not extreme. Towing the 5th wheel I feel the truck handles better than before.
Ordering and delivery was quick and easy. The SumoSprings really improved the ride of our C Class RV. The only problem was one of the springs had cross threaded threads so I had to tap the treads to make it work. They were delivered in a plain brown box with no manufacture information or instructions. It makes believe the were a returned item, the previous purchaser couldn't get them to work either. I just had the tools and skill to correct the problem.
I recently purchased/installed SumoSprings for the front axle on my 2018 Thor Freedom Elite 28FE. Having previously purchased/installed SumoSprings for the rear axle I have to say that the overall improvement in ride/handling has exceeded my expectations. As always, etrailer provided valuable insights and prompt inquiries to my questions. The level of in-depth product knowledge amongst the etrailer staff is second to none. Thanks etrailer!
Product is great, exceeded my expectations. Install is simple and straightforward. It’s a night and day difference in both the body roll and the handling small bumps all the way up to off-road conditions.
I have a Workhorse W22 chassis. I installed steering dampeners and HD sway bar to reduce the "loose" steering. After installing the SumoSprings Front Spring helpers on the front end, 90% of the looseness on the front end disappeared. It is now a pleasure to drive. Very little sway from passing trucks and cross winds. I will be installing a set on the rear this year.
Busted everyone of them.
Ideal for my 2017 Ram 2500. It elevated the hard “bump” when going over speed bumps, potholes, etc. I upgraded to billstein 5100 as well, and I am happy with the overall ride and handling. As a bonus, No sag when I run the plow.
Have not had the opportunity to install yet, due to weather, but SumoSprings appear to be a good quality. Of material
The front SumoSprings made such a good change in the way the 2017 RAM 3500 truck handles with my truck camper on it. No more wallowing or rolling. I highly recommend them.

Oh no! That is definitely not normal for these. Would you be able to clarify what you mean by busted? How heavy would you say your load was? I am noticing these are light duty and wonder if they were over loaded by mistake?
