Is this what would be used for the side door frame? And if so, what is used for the the door opening trim?

Yes, the H-Channel for Enclosed Trailer # 36281-955 can be used for the side door frame on your enclosed trailer. It is specifically designed for building cabinets and doors on a trailer. There is also the 1/16" Thick Tube Trim for Enclosed Trailer # 36295-955 which is used to frame side doors on enclosed trailers.
As far a trim is concerned, you can use something like the C-Channel for Enclosed Trailer # 362212-955 which is used to conceal unfinished edges on your trailer door.
