Front Hitch Ground Clearance on 2019 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

Hello! Planning on adding the Curt front hitch for my 2019 Honda Ridgeline and just wondering how it will affect my ground clearance. Thanks for the help.

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch # C31082 sits up really close to the bottom of the front bumper on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline, so while it will have an effect on ground clearance, it's not by much at all. We had a customer install install the hitch on his 2019 Ridgeline and reported that it only reduced the truck's ground clearance by about an inch (when compared to the lowest factory component under the truck).

I installed this hitch. Although it does not reduce HEIGHT clearance much, it DOES extend FORWARD a fair amount. The result was that every time I went through a dip it would hit. Even driveway aprons. I took it off and threw it in the trash. Sad.
