Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Montana High Country 362RD with a 250lb capacity Rear fold-able rack - factory installed. I have added a front hitch to my 2003 Dodge Cummins DRW 3500 to haul my dirt bike. Well that is causing some heat issues in my pull truck so Id like to move to the rear of the 5th wheel and carry my dirt bike. I see a few rear hitch options with a 300lb tongue weight capacity but I want to make sure I am purchasing the correct one for my application. Can you point me in the right direction and tell me what my options are? Thank you

You could go with the Lippert 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Campers and Trailers # LC730647 you were looking at, but because this only hitch has a 300-lb tongue weight rating I believe there is a better solution.
I recommend going with the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Receiver # 13703 , because it has a slightly higher 350-lb tongue weight capacity. You'll want to measure the frame width on your Keystone Montana High Country 362RD to make sure that it isn't wider than 72", but as long as you're 72" or shorter, this hitch will work perfectly. This hitch can also be bolted on to the frame, so you won't have to worry about getting it welded on if you don't want to.
If your frame is under 77" but longer than 72", you can go with the Ultra-Fab # UF35-946403 which has the same 350-lb tongue weight capacity as the Curt hitch, just in a slightly longer tube. The only drawback to this hitch is that can only be installed by a certified welder, where the Curt can be bolted to the frame.
If your frame is wider than 77", we don't have any longer frame hitches but you might want to consider adding a transmission cooler to help deal with the heat issues. The Derale Dyno-Cool # D12906 can be installed in front of your radiator to help fight off most heat related issues that you experience during towing. This might be a good addition to your towing setup if you're going to have to keep towing with the front mounted hitch.
