To flat tow your 2004 Honda CR-V with a Demco Dominator # DM9511008 you'll first need a base plate kit designed to fit your vehicle and tow bar with the Demco # DM9518135. This provides the attachment point between the vehicle frame and the tow bar. Since you have the Brake Buddy braking system already and your tow bar came with safety cables you basically just need a lighting solution and you'd be set.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV. I attached an install video link for this on a 2007 Honda CR-V for you to check out as well.
