Does Tire Pressure Matter to Wheels in the Same Manner as Tires?

Do I need to change my Rims if going from 80 PSI to 110 upgradeing from E load range to F or G

The tire pressure isn't a factor with wheels (but valve stems are pressure rated so your existing ones may need to be switched if they're not rated for your new tires); for this reason it's not going to be a concern as much as the load rating/weight capacity of the tires and wheels being consistent; this is simply from a standpoint of making sure that you're maximizing your carrying capacity, which is usually the purpose of upgrading.

When towing, you're always rated by your lowest rated component; if you have Load Range D tires with a 2400-lb capacity and wheels like the # LHJM513 which have a 3750-lbs capacity, you're limited to the 2400-lb capacity of your tires (this works vice-versa as well).

If you wanted to upgrade to a Load Range G tire like the Provider ST235/85R16 # TTWPRG235R16 which are rated for up to 4400-lbs, a good wheel that would match its capacity if you have an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern is the Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel # TA55VR - which has a 4400-lb capacity; if you only have a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern you would be able to use the # TA73VR which is the highest capacity wheel we have available with that bolt pattern at 3500-lbs.

If you need some higher rated valve stems for your existing wheels you can use the Americana # AM20906 which are rated for up to 200 PSI.
