This 16" x 6" steel trailer wheel has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and a 4.25" pilot diameter. Beveled stud holes keep wheel secure when mounted on your axle. Acrylic enamel finish resists damage better than powder coat finishes.

Durable Acrylic Enamel Finish
This wheel has a durable acrylic enamel finish on the front. The finish is applied after the wheel goes through an environmentally safe zinc phosphate pre-treatment and is coated with an e-coat primer layer. Compared to powder coat finishes, this finish resists getting chipped from flying road debris or scraped from hitting a curb for a longer period of time. These acrylic enamel wheels performed for more than 1,000 hours in salt spray tests.
Beveled Stud Holes
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

The wheel in itself is a great wheel for the price. however unbeknownst to me once these arrived i took them straight to the tire shop (in the box) with the new G rated 14ply trailer tires to have them mounted. tire shop advised that once they opened the boxes, several wheels were bent around the rim. although it looked ugly luckily, the tires mounted okay. i had to buy some chrome rings to cover the ugly bends and dents (so more money) and contacted etrailer only to be told "oh sorry to hear about that. what i should have done was sent them back but they were already mounted and i would be charged again for that. didnt get any credit or discount offer from etrailer, they just seemed to not care. i've always purchased my trailer parts from etrailer because they've always been good to me, but i guess good thing must come to an end.

The only problem with the order was that the fifth wheel was packed with one of the two packs without extra packing. This caused metal to metal contact. These three wheels had burrs from that and the paint was scratched up. Due to a scheduled trip I had to use them. It could have been a five star rating had there been more care packaging them.

After having a few trailer tire blowouts over the past few years, I decided to carry an extra spare for my gooseneck horse trailer. This wheel looks like a good match. I haven't mounted a tire yet, but so far I am happy with the service and products from etrailer.com.

Lost our spare somehow on one of our trailers. Needed a new rim for a new spare and was able to order it on e-trailer. Exact match pin stripe and all. Could not find rim elsewhere.

Overall good looking wheel. Price was good for what I was looking for. Box was dinged up a bit although I expected that to happen, something that heavy is bound to beat up the box. Paint was very nice. Having the tire installed today and we will see how nice it looks when I pick it up.

- Steel 16" Trailer Wheels With 6 on 5-1/2" Bolt Pattern Here is a list of our 16" steel trailer wheels which have the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. We will not have any wheels which have the 95.4mm pilot hole you are needing which should not likely be an issue since trailers will typically use a coned Lug Nut # CE11051 which lug centers the wheel rather than hub centering the wheel like several vehicles will require. If your trailer hub is hub centric and uses a Flange Nut # LI84FR you will need to have an centric ring adapter made to fit the wheels....
