Will The Trailair Pin Box Replacing LCI 1116 Cause A Increase or Decrease in Height

Question:

My current lci 1116 pin box is set in the highest setting to bring trailer as low as possible to get close to level. Will this pin box cause a height increase when the airbag is inflated? My hitch is a pullrite super glide and has no height adjustment.

I contacted Lippert on your behalf. Your current LCI 1116 measures 17-7/16" from the bottom of pin to the top of pin box mounting. The Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC155943 measures13-1/2 plus the pin at 3-3/8" or 16-7/8" making about 1/2" in height reduction.
