Question:
Hi, I have instaled on my Corrola an 1-1/4 hitch. I need to rise the distance from ground as much as posible. I want to use this product for that. I guess I still need another adapter from 1-1/4 to 2 and then to attach this one and then to attach my 2 bike rack. Do you think this will will work? Thanks, Lucian

No, I am sorry, but this will not work. First, the RM-048-6 is for towing a vehicle behind a motor home. Every time you add either an adapter or an extender, you reduce your tongue weight by 50 percent. You would need to add both, and with a Class I hitch, the weight of the bike rack, adapter, and extender would be too much for the vehicle.
We do offer some great bike racks which are made to attach directly to the vehicle. We also have some 2 bike racks which will fit your 1 1/4 inch hitch. I will attach links to those web pages below for your reference.
