I can’t get my tail light out does the 2 bolts and then just pull straight out or out to the side

To remove the taillights of your 2019 Infiniti QX50 so that you can install the trailer wiring kit part # 118796 you will need to remove the two screws you mentioned and then pull straight back and not to the sides.
