Updated 03/28/2012 | Published 03/27/2012 >
Question:
I need to replace the fan on the roof vent in my trailer. The fan broke into many pieces this week end.The question is how do I release the screen from the vent frame so that I can get to the fan and motor to measure and order the correct parts. Thank you

We have a video that outlines the procedure for removing the roof vent screen, click on the provided link to view the video. The procedure will involve removing the interior trim as well as the knob or crank, and then the screen can be removed by taking out the screws that hold it in.
Because your vent has a fan, the procedure might be slightly different, but the video will still provide you with a good idea of how the vent goes together.
