The base plates that I recommend that fit your 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 are the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9517235, which are going to be compatible with all Demco tow bars. The best option for your '10 Ram 1500 is going to be the Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012 because they have a self-aligning design which makes it easier to hook up and also because they have integrated safety cables and an adjustable head. This means you won't need to get safety cables or a high-low adapter separately, saving you an additional expense.
The other parts you will need to flat tow your 2010 Ram 1500 are tow bar wiring, the Roadmaster # RM-15267, a supplemental braking system, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 and Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400.
