Question:

The last time I asked a question yall had a great answer for me it was super detailed and very helpful. So once again I come to you to ask what is the largest size radial tire you can put on an SK 10 800 sea lion trailer? Conner said i could upgrade to a 12 inch radial tire and i was wondering what the mazimum upgrade size is. I will be looking dorward to hearing from your experts. Thanks! Ps. I hope to mount my little camper on to this trailer with the biggest wheels possible and go across country with my dogs. Any advice is always appreciated. Picture below... Camper is xurrently not mounted to trailer.

The largest size tire you can use on your Sea Lion trailer is going to depend on how much clearance you have which I will not be able to answer for you. In order to determine this you will need to measure for yourself. It looks like you will be able to install a 12" wheel/tire no problem so long as you also replace the fender.

I recommend the Kenda KR25 ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum Wheel part # AM31208. This tire measures 21.3" diameter x 5.7" wide so you will need to make sure you have room for this but the axle would not need to be replaced. Then for new fenders you can use the Single Axle Trailer Fender part # F008551 with the Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender part # CE26061G-2.

In regards to clearance for this new size tire, the main thing you will need to check is width.
