How to Install Lid Support for Yakima RocketBox Pro 11

Question:

I have a Rocket Box 11, but the lid supports use those older awful red plastic arrows on the back of the Yakima badges. I’m not sure how I’m going to mount these 8880683 parts that I just ordered - I may be able to just drill them into the existing mounts, but the rear one is gone and out of stock at Yakima. So, are there other mounting bases I can use to drill these new supports into?? Thanks for your help

To install the Lid Support # 8880683 on your RocketBox 11 you simply need to determine if your current support is connected with a ball joint or with a screw. If it's a ball joint then you'll use a mallet to uninstall the old support and install the new support but if it's a screw then you'll use a screwdriver for the uninstall/install.
